Weddings, parties and seminars
If you're organising a wedding, Civil Partnership, birthday party, Christening or other special event we would be delighted to help you.

Our aim is to provide you with affordable flexibility. You decide how you want to cater for your  guests – from Champagne, canapés and a complete dinner to a beer, a BBQ and a bacon roll for supper and we will work with you to create a menu tailored to your tastes and budget. We don’t apply any hidden ‘wedding’ charges – our prices are equally good value whatever the occasion.  If you choose to have any ‘extras’ from balloons to a band you just pay for what you choose. 

We have a separate reception room (for up to 100 guests) or the whole pub can be available (for up to 200+ guests). We can also cater for smaller groups, perhaps for your pre-wedding dinner or lunch. Our large garden can be used for BBQs or pre-reception drinks and canapés.

For parties we can provide an extensive choice of music or you can use one of our recommended DJs. We are licensed until midnight with later hours available by arrangement.

We can cater for Christenings. You'll want to make this a memorable day for you and all of your family and friends, in comfortable surroundings. We can offer a selection of menus and can offer flexible timings to fit in with you. Perhaps you'd like a 'Breakfast Party' complete with bacon and eggs and Buck's Fizz to follow an early church service, or you'd like your guests to join you for 'Afternoon Tea' and Champagne. During the summer (or even the winter for the hardier!) the garden is useful for younger guests to let off steam and we can provide colouring books and crayons to keep them amused indoors.

We can organise flowers, balloons, music, cakes and any other details you'd like taken care of.

The upstairs restaurant is also the ideal location for your seminar, training sessions or office ‘away day’. We can provide theatre style seating for 60 and can serve a variety of refreshments from tea and coffee through buffet lunches to post event dinners. We have facilities for WIFI, projector, screen etc. There is ample parking to the rear of the pub.
