Christmas 2008

 Bookings are now being taken for Christmas at The Unthank. Our menu will be available from 1 September 2008, but you can beat the crowds by reserving your table now. We can seat up to 70 people for lunch or dinner.

 Please email and ask for a copy of the menu to be emailed back to you as soon as it is available.

 Located in the ‘Golden Triangle’, The Unthank Arms is a lively pub, combining a warm, relaxed atmosphere with excellent dining and a varied wine list, all at very agreeable pub prices. 

The interior comfortably marries traditional with contemporary - exposed floor boards and wooden furniture against a backdrop of clarets and original Victorian detailing. Upstairs, our restaurant enjoys a separate lounge with a more relaxed feel and outside our large sheltered garden and gazebo are the perfect place to relax in the summer.

Our large menu is available throughout the pub and garden and is regularly updated to include seasonal produce. Mussels, salads, hearty main meals and a mouth-watering selection of desserts are always available. We also serve a choice of delicious Sunday roasts until 8.30pm - perfect for a lazy Sunday. 

We have a choice of 25 wines from around the world, all available by the glass as well as by the bottle and a large range or real ales, premium lagers and bottled beers.  

The Unthank is an ideal venue for your wedding or party. Why not come in and talk to our chefs who would be delighted to tailor a menu to suit the occasion, or ask to see our buffet and canape menus? We can comfortably seat 70 guests and there is ample car parking.  We provide a bespoke service for those who want an individual wedding. Why not choose a Sunday night, or an unusual theme? The Unthank is also available to hire for other functions such as christenings or birthday celebrations.
