We've been noticing for a while that most of our customers prefer to choose from the daily 'specials' menu rather than the more established 'bar' menu so we've decided to give our chefs even more flexibility to choose what's freshest, tastiest and most seasonal from our local suppliers of meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, cheeses and game and they'll be writing an entirely new menu every few days.

We've incorporated a few of the most-loved 'bar' dishes for those times when only a Classic Unthank burger or a Catch of the Day will do and we've kept a good selection of favourite dishes at just £5.95 on the menu so you can afford to indulge yourself more often!

Some things will still be available as before - like our delicious home-cooked Sunday lunches, our popular weekend breakfasts and tasty meals for children and we're even bringing back a few old faithfuls - like our Pasta Nights on Mondays and Tuesdays - a bowlful of hearty pasta with a proper sized (175ml) glass of wine for only £7.95 (only £1 more than it was in 2009!).

You can still join our Lunch Club - where five lunches enjoyed with us gives you a sixth for FREE!

We serve delicious food daily with an extensive bar menu and daily specials starting at only £5.95. You can eat in the bar, bistro, upstairs, the Courtyard or garden and choose from a quick bite to a relaxing meal. We serve delicious Sunday roasts including beef, pork, chicken and homemade nut-roast.

We try to be as flexible as possible so if we can alter a dish to suit your dietary requirements or tastes please ask and we will do our best. In addition to the children’s menu some dishes can be made in smaller portions for children - again, please ask.
